I don't imagine that the Coroner has anything to do with foreclosures. in fact, in Kendall County the Coroner position does very little of anything. Without a hospital located in the County there are very few cases that the Kendall Coroner actually reviews. Toftoy may have the easiest job in the County, doing very little work, having very little oversight and getting paid for it. He must not have topped out on his pension yet so we will continue to see his name on the ballot until he does.

It has nothing to do with foreclosures directly. This is a picture of many departments within the county. They are paid positions. It is a simple request to tell me why I should support you. This county like all others is in many forms of stress. Our property tax bills keep on going up and values down while they have requested new tax multipliers. This funnels down to every department. What is their attitude and direction with the challenges? It is a question to them. Not their troops that embrace them for whatever reason. You are also anonymous. I just spoke about that. It brings the value down.

Apparently Toftoy has been on the job for a while now. If he has not topped out at his pension that is pretty bad pension. Actually if you do a little research in the county on annual salaries, he sits as being one of the lowest paid coroners in the surrounding counties and has a higher case load, then those surrounding Kendall. Make sure you keep up with the news too.. Rush Copley is putting a trauma center in Yorkville within the next several years.

Remember your tax bills, when they increase, are due to the schools in the area. Look at the breakdown or the bill. It will show you who is getting the lion's share!!!

Mr. Chooch, If no political opponent comes forward to challenge an incumbent office holder they automatically get reElected by default. No opponent = no debate and the status quo is perpetuated. It happens all the time in Kendall County. To be a challenger on the ballot one must draft a nominating petition and get the required number of signatures.
