Council Approves New Subdivision

Only one house expected to be built on the three-lot subdivision.

City aldermen approved the final plat for a three-lot subdivision on about 3 acres at the southwest corner of East Main and Bruell streets during Tuesday night's council meeting.

The property formerly called the Salek Subdivision of Lion’s Pool, is located at 512 E. Main St. According ot city documents the club structures have been demolished and the swimming pool has since been filled-in.

Property owners Kyle and Kelly Salek said they plan on building a single-family structure on one of the lots, with no current intention to build on the other lots.

The property was already zoned for single-family homes.

Council unanimously approved the request.
