Aldermen Approve Contracts for Administrator, Police Chief

Yorkville Board of Aldermen unanimously approved new contracts for the city administrator and chief of police.

Bart Olson, who has been with the city since 2004, was given a contract with total compensation of $105,000. The contract expires in 2015.

Chief of Police Richard Hart received a contract worth $103,000 in total compensation. Like Olson’s his contact will expire in 2015.

Upon approval of the contracts Mayor Gary Golinski thanked both men for their service to the United City of Yorkville, saying he “appreciates all they do.”
