What is the primary reason you are running for this office? I am running for re-election to continue to work for the residents of Yorkville on issues like balanced budget, public safety and road repairs. I am also chairman of the economic development committee where I am working to bring in additional quality retail businesses to Yorkville which will reduce our residents tax burden.

What will be your single most important priority if you get elected? Single most important issue I will focus on if re-elected is the issue of keeping our city safe thru a strong police department. Without public safety all other issues aren't as important.

What sets you apart from the other candidates? What sets me apart from other candidates is my common sense approach to issues. I alsways focus on the will of the people on how I vote. I have never voted along party lines and judge each issue on its merits. I also have never displayed any personal vendetta's against any other elected official.

What sets you apart from the other candidates? I have been an alderman for several terms and believe that gives me the experience to get things done in an efficient manner. 

How long have you lived in Yorkville (if applicable, if not how long have you been involved with Yorkville)? I have lived in Yorkville for 13 years and have seen the growth and how we must manage future growth.

What's your favorite thing about Yorkville? I like Yorkville because of its diverse areas and for the blend of residents who have been here a long time and the residents who are new to the area.

 What is the biggest problem in Yorkville?I don't like the condition of some of the roads and will work to find funds to improve them.
