Yorkville Resident Wins Scholarship from Illinois Sheriff's Association

Bobby Schillinger, a graduate of Yorkville High School, will attend Elmhurst College in the fall.

The following release was issued by the Kendall County Sheriff's Office:

All across Illinois, the Illinois Sheriffs’ Association awarded over $53,000 in college scholarships throughout the State of Illinois to students wishing to pursue higher education during the 2013-2014 academic year. 

The $500 scholarship winner for Kendall County Sheriff Richard Randall was Yorkville resident Bobby Schillinger.

Bobby is currently a senior at Yorkville High School and will be attending Elmhurst College in the fall. He will be majoring in business, although he would like to one day become a firefighter. 

While attending Yorkville High School, Bobby has been part of the National Honor Society, and the All Conference Academics.  Bobby has also participated in football, wrestling, track and has volunteered in many community organizations.
