Saturday, April 20

Warrant

Justin A. Martin, 32, of the 0-100 block of Fernwood, Clearwater, Florida, was arrested at 10:17 p.m. in the 500 block of South Bridge Street and charged with an outstanding warrant out of Florida, said Yorkville Police. Martin is to be extradited to Florida.

Burglary from motor vehicle

Yorkville police took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between 6:20 p.m. and 7:20 p.m. in the 200 block of South Bridge Street. A purse containing a credit card and a pair of earrings valued at $200 was reported taken.

Yorkville police took a report for lost items that went missing between 9 p.m. on April 18 and 1:25 a.m. on April 19 in the 200 block of South Bridge Street. The property reported lost was valued at $1,660.49 and included a coach purse, a platinum wedding band, a white gold engagement ring, a glass blown necklace, Illinois state ID card, FOID card, debit card, health insurance card and $130 in U.S. currency.

Thursday, April 18

Possession of cannabis

A male juvenile was arrested at 5:42 p.m. in the 400 block of Winterbury Drive, Yorkville, and charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis after he was found to be in possession of 24 grams of cannabis.

Credit card fraud

Yorkville police are investigating a reported credit card fraud that occurred at 11:10 a.m.

Wednesday, April 17

Warrant

Omar Meiguza, 38, of the 500 block of Clin, Aurora, was arrested at 10:52 a.m. in the 2000 block of South Bridge Street and charged with an instate warrant out of DuPage County, said Yorkville police.
