Two DUI Arrests Following Incidents in Construction Zones: Kendall County DUI Arrests

A look at recent DUI arrests around Kendall County, Aug. 11 - Aug. 18.

Sunday, Aug. 18

  • Michael A. Neal, 41, of the 2100 block of Meadowview Lane, Yorkville, was arrested at 2:15 a.m. at Route 71 and Candleberry and charged with driving under the influence, said Yorkville police. He was also charged with improper lane usage.
  • Taylor S. McDowell, 20, of the 2700 block of Elden, Yorkville, was arrested at 3 p.m. at South Main and West Washington and charged with driving under the influence, said Yorkville police. McDowell was driving southbound on Route 47 through the construction zone and reportedly stuck his arm out the window to hit a construction sign and then swerved within the lane.  He was also cited for improper lane usage and driving without insurance.
  • Miguel Aguirre, 28, of the 1100 block of Lafayette St. Aurora, was arrested at 2:20 a.m. at Ashland and Douglas Road and charged for driving under the influence after his vehicle was stopped for disobeying a stop sign, said Montgomery police.

Saturday, Aug. 17 Zachary J. Leali, 18, of the 300 block of White Water Lane, Oswego, was arrested at 3:30 a.m. at Arbor Lane and Norway Place and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. He was also cited with improper lane usage.

Friday, Aug. 16 Jason Hill, 40, of the 200 block of Concord Drive DeKalb, was arrested at 11:20 p.m. at Route 30 and Orchard and charged with driving under the influence after police stopped his vehicle for improper lane usage and speeding in a construction zone, said Montgomery police.

Thursday, Aug. 15 Tony A. Hartness, 28, of the 100 block of Locust, Oswego, was arrested at 11:15 p.m. at Douglas and Long Beach and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. He was also cited with improper lane usage.

Sunday, Aug. 11 Arturo Garrido, 27, of the 800 block of Watson Street, Aurora, was arrested at 11:02 p.m. at Route 31 and River Run Boulevard and charged with driving under the influence and driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for improper lane usage, speeding and running a red light.
