Traffic and Equipment Violations Lead to Multiple Arrests: Sheriff

Saturday, Dec. 7

Warrant

Monica Vega Aguiniga, 23, of the 0-99 block of Hampton Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 2:26 a.m. at Fernwood and Roulock Road, Montgomery, on a warrant out of Aurora Police Department after she was stopped for driving with no rear registration light, said the Sheriff’s office.

Hit and run accident

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred at 2:45 p.m. at Route 34 and Riverwood Drive. Three vehicles were involved in the accident and one vehicle fled the scene prior to police arrival without providing information.

Kimberly Suzanne Dobyns, 44, of the 2300 block of Shiloh Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 7:41 p.m. at Circle Drive West and Scarsdale on a warrant after she was stopped for having only one headlight, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

Jose Francisco, 30, of the 4000 block of Eldamain Road, Plano, was arrested at 4:43 p.m. at Cannonball and North Street, Bristol, and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after he was stopped for disobeying a stop sign, said the Sheriff’s office.

Friday, Dec. 6

Possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis

Jillian Louise Gottfried, 28, of the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 9:34 p.m. at Barnaby Lane and Douglas Road and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis after she was stopped for driving a vehicle with only one headlight, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, Dec. 5

Warrant

Randy Walter Henning Jr., 38, of the 0-99 block of Dolphin Court, Oswego, was arrested at 4:37 p.m. at his residence on a warrant out of Kendall for trespassing after deputies went to the area for a neighborhood trouble call, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

Francisco Melendez, 39, of the 3900 block of Havenhill Court, Yorkville, was arrested at 7:27 a.m. at Route 31 and Baseline Road, Montgomery, and charged for driving without a valid license after he was stopped for disobeying a traffic control device, said the Sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, Dec. 3

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 4:22 p.m. at Fernwood and Briarcliff Road. The victim reported that a blue SUV hit their rear bumper. Deputies were unable to find the offending vehicle.

Monday, Dec. 2.

Warrant, criminal trespass to property

Donnal William Riley, 18, of the 600 block of Gates Street, Aurora, was arrested at 10:45 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass to a residence and entering and remaining at a residence in the 5100 block of Baseline Road, Oswego. He was also arrested on a warrant out of Kane County for robbery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a burglary that occurred between Oct. 16 and Dec. 2 in the 4600 block of Douglas Road. A chainsaw valued at $300 was taken from a shed on the property.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a theft that occurred on Nov. 30 in the100 block of Route 30, Aurora. The victim reported that while at a soccer game an unknown subject took his backpack with personal property valued at over $750, including an iPhone 5 and an Armani watch.

No valid driver’s license

Susana Trujillo, 46, of the 1000 block of 5th Street, Aurora, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. at Route 31 and West Anchor Drive, Oswego, and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after she was stopped for failing to signal when required, said the Sheriff’s office.

Disorderly conduct

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for disorderly conduct that occurred online. Two victims reported that several internet sites had been created using their name and publicized private information.
