Three Juveniles Charged with Burglary: Police

Tuesday, Sept. 24

Warrant

Matthew P. Sudnik, 40, of the 200 block of Walsh Circle, Yorkville, was arrested on a warrant following a car crash that occurred at 6:22 a.m. at Routes 47 and 34. He was also cited with driving on a suspended license.

Unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia

James Gomez II, 20, of the 1400 block of Cambria Drive, Joliet, was cited for the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at 10:34 a.m. at Routes 126 and 71, said Yorkville police.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Yorkville police are investigating a burglary to a motor vehicle report in which $5,000 worth of hearing aids that were stolen from a parked vehicle at 5:06 p.m. in the 0-99 block of West Veteran’s Parkway.

Credit card fraud

Yorkville police are investigating a report of credit card fraud that occurred in the 300 block of Timbalier Street.

Sunday, Sept. 22

Criminal damage to property

Yorkville police took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred at 4 p.m. in the 400 block of Landmark Avenue. The property owner was inside the home and had the front door open but the screen door locked. An unknown offender tried to gain access to the home by cutting the screen on the door, but was unable to unlock the door. No entrance was made to the house and damage is estimated at $20.

Burglary

Three juveniles were arrested and charged with burglary at 1:52 a.m. in the 200 block of South Heustis Street, said Yorkville police. The three juveniles forced their way into a business on the 200 block of Heustis Street. One juvenile was also charged with criminal damage to property and the possession of burglary tools. All were also cited for curfew violation and released to their parents.

Disorderly conduct

Dayna Phillips, 28, of the 200 block of West Fox Street, was arrested at 8:35 p.m. at her residence and charged with disorderly conduct after officers went to the area for reports of a dispute between Phillips and a family member, said Yorkville police.

Retail theft

Buena Yerenia, 26, of the 700 block of West Jones, Plano, was cited for the retail theft of two wallets that occurred at 6:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Gnoa Lane, said Yorkville Police.
