Teen Attempts to Use "Whizzinator" to Fool Drug Test: Sheriff

Monday, Sept. 16

No valid driver’s license

Miguel Angel Ortiz, 31, of the 300 block of Rural Street, Aurora, was arrested at 4:38 a.m. at Route 30 and Wolf Road, Oswego, and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding, said the Sheriff’s office.

Warrant, illegal consumption of alcohol

Christopher Tyler Glover, 18, of the 0-50 block of Afton Drive, Montgomery; an Marilyn May Caruso, 18, of the 2000 block of Grand Ridge Circle, Aurora, were arrested at 12:25 a.m. in the 0-50 block of Afton Drive, Montgomery, said the Sheriff’s office. Glover was charged with the illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and arrested on a failure to appear warrant out of Will County for the possession of cannabis and drug equipment. Caruso was charged with the illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor.

Sunday, Sept. 15

Domestic battery

David De La Torre, 23, of the 1000 block of Spruce Street, Aurora; and Nicholas Anthony Chrzastek, 25, of the 3100 block of Hopewell Drive, Aurora, were arrested and charged with domestic battery in which they battered one another at the Hide Away Lakes Campground, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Sept. 14

Possession of cannabis, drug paraphernalia, DWLS

Vanessa Stephanie Morell, 20, of the 0-100 block of Lancaster Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 12:08 a.m. at Douglas and Season’s Ridge Road and charged with the possession of cannabis, drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license after she was stopped for an equipment violation, said the Sheriff’s office.

Domestic battery

Jacob P. Brewick, 24, of the 4000 block of Mill Road, Oswego, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery after he reportedly pushed his fiancé, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary from a motor vehicle

Deputies took a report for burglary from a motor vehicle that occurred on Sept. 12 at 11:59 p.m. in the 100 block of Poplar Drive, Yorkville. A gym bag and an electronic device were taken.

Friday, Sept. 13

Warrant

Cristina Daniella Argumedo, 23, of the 2600 block of Mc Duffee Circle, North Aurora, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. at Route 25 and Bereman Road on a failure to appear warrant from the Aurora Police Department after she was stopped for expired registration, said the Sheriff’s office.

Burglary of a motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between 9 p.m. on Sept. 12 and 6 a.m. on Sept. 13 in the 100 block of Poplar Drive, Yorkville. A purse was reported taken from an unlocked vehicle.

Possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis

A male juvenile, 17, was arrested at 8:11 p.m. at Route 30 and Route 34 and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis under 2.5 grams, said the Sheriff’s office. He was stopped for driving a vehicle with loud exhaust.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Jason Edgar Thomas, 27, of the 1800 block of Candelight Circle, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. at Orchard Road and Galena Road and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia after he was observed having several moving violations, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for improper lane usage, failure to yield at an intersection and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Defrauding drug and alcohol screening test

Timothy Allen Robinson, 18, of the 9400 block of Caton Farm Road, Yorkville, was arrested and charged with defrauding an alcohol screening test that occurred at 12:57 p.m. in the 800 block of West John Street, Bristol. Robinson reportedly tried to use a device called the “Whizzinator” to defraud a drug and alcohol screening test that he was required to take for probation, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, Sept. 12

Burglary of a motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred on Sept. 7 in the 0-99 block of Aldon Road, Oswego. An unknown subject reportedly took $5,200 worth of items from the vehicle.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for theft that occurred in the 0-99 block of Dolphin Court between 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m. Numerous video games and tools were reported taken from the residence.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a hit and run that occurred at 3:45 p.m. at Route 31 and Anchor. The victim was traveling south on Route 31 when a green vehicle tried to pass him prior to merging into one lane. The driver of the unknown vehicle struck the passenger side of the victim’s vehicle and failed to stop.

Disorderly conduct

Sheriff’s deputies took a repot for disorderly conduct that occurred at 7:19 p.m. in the 100 block of Heathgate Road, Montgomery. The victim reported that while standing next to his vehicle two subjects drove by and yelled obscenities at him and spit in his direction. The victim suspects the subjects were individuals he had had problems with.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred between Sept. 6 and Sept. 10 in the 12600 block of Budd Road, Yorkville. Unknown suspect(s) drove through a field of sweet corn, causing $200 damage to the corn. The investigation is ongoing.

Warrant

Ryan Allen Kane, 19, of the 0-99 block of East Lyncliff Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 11:22 p.m. at his residence on a failure to appear warrant from the Kendall County Sheriff’s office, said the Sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, Sept. 10

Domestic battery

Danny R. Greco, 41, of the 13000 block of Mary Lee Court, was arrested and charged with domestic battery for an incident that occured in the 0-99 block of Larkspur Lane, Bristol, at 5:38 p.m. He was also charged with the unlawful interference of reporting a domestic battery and criminal damage to property.

Monday, Sept. 9

Warrant

Doris Ulloa, 32, of the 0-100 block of Fernwood Road, Montgomery, was arrested in the 0-99 block of Fernwood on a warrant for failure to appear for domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Theft

A male juvenile was charged with theft of a skateboard valued at $79.99. The theft took place at 12 p.m. in the 100 block of Heathgate Road, Montgomery. The juvenile reportedly took the skateboard from the reporting person’s property and was found riding it around the neighborhood. The skateboard was recovered and returned and the juvenile was referred to the Kendall County Juvenile Probations Office.
