Retail theft
Jonathan L. Walters, 35, of the 500 block of Freemont Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane and charged with retail theft, said Yorkville police.

Yorkville police responded to an accident report that occurred at 6:03 a.m. in the 100 block of East Blackberry. A car hit a residential structure and the male juvenile occupants left the car and fled the scene on foot. The driver was later taken into custody.
Hit and run
Yorkville police took a report for a hit and run accident that occurred at 11:20 p.m. on Route 34 and Eldamain Road. An unknown vehicle struck another in the westbound lane of 34 and fled the scene.

Criminal damage to property
Yorkville police are investigating a report of criminal damage to property that occurred in the 100 block of Colonial Parkway. An unknown individual(s) poured sugar in a gas tank of a parked vehicle. Damage is estimated at $200 to the vehicle.
Friday, June 21
Warrant
Angela Smith, 33, of the 100 block of South 21st Street, Decatur, was arrested at 8:09 p.m. in the 200 block of Bertram Drive and charged with an in state warrant, said Yorkville police.
Criminal damage to property
Yorkville police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred in the 1800 block of Aster Drive.
Residential burglary
Yorkville police took a report for a residential burglary that occurred at 6:49 p.m. in the 4500 block of Garrinano Street. An unknown person forced entry through a front door of the residence and stole over $2,000 worth of jewelry.
Thursday, June 20
Unlawful consumption of alcohol, possession of drug paraphernalia
A juvenile, 17, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. at Routes 47 and 126 and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor and the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, said Yorkville police.
