Stolen Alcohol Leads to Seven Underage Drinking Arrests

Incidents happened on Thursday, June 27.

What started as a retail theft ended with seven minors arrested on drinking charges Thursday night, said Yorkville police.

At 9:50 p.m. someone stole a bottle of alcohol from a retail establishment in the 200 block of East Veterans Parkway.

Yorkville Deputy Chief Larry Hilt said the police received a call about the incident with a description of the car. By the time deputies arrived on scene the car had left, but the deputies looked for the car around the area.
