Update: Sheriff's Office Phone Lines Restored

Office has Intermittent line service.

Update, 7:34 p.m.

The Kendall County Sheriff's office main number has been re-established.

As of 5:45 p.m. the Sheriff's office has set up a temporary phone number to take calls during the outage. The office can be reached at 630-385-3001.

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office reported an interruption with telephone service Tuesday afternoon. According to a brief release by the office, service went down at approximately 2 p.m.

At this time line service is described as intermittent.

Utilities services have been contacted and are currently working on the lines, according to a release.

Later Tuesday afternoon the Sheriff's Office reported KenCom Public Safety Dispatch Center also experienced telephone interruptions. Phone and radio transmissions are intermittent. Utilities companies are also working on this issues as well.

A temporary telephone number of 630-385-3001 has been established for residents to use during the outage.
