Police: Yorkville Man Injured in Fight Tuesday

One adult charged, charges pending against two 17-year-olds in connection with brawl Tuesday, police say.

A 19-year-old Yorkville man suffered a 2- to 3-inch gash to the right side of his head during a fight Tuesday evening involving three others, Yorkville Deputy Police Chief Larry Hilt said.

The victim was punched, kicked and struck with rocks about 6:30 p.m. at Hydraulic and Morgan streets, which is west of Route 47 near the railroad tracks and the Fox River, Hilt said. The three alleged offenders did not appear to know the victim but a verbal altercation escalated, police said.

Tyler N. Dunkin, 18, of the 500 block of West Hydraulic Street, Yorkville, was charged with misdemeanor battery, while charges are pending against two 17-year-old Yorkville boys.
