Retail theft

Yorkville police took a report of a theft that occurred between Jan. 6 and Jan. 13 in the 100 block of Badger Street. 15 wooden pallets valued at $166 were stolen.

Dana J. Fritsch, 33, of the 100 block o Hydraulic Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 6:05 p.m. at Route 34 and Route 47 following a traffic stop and was charged with the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and arrested on two warrants, said Yorkville police.

Yorkville police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred between Dec. 26 and Jan. 13 in the 1000 block of Hampton Lane. A window was reported damaged. Damages are estimated at $600.

Friday, Jan. 10

Hit and run

Yorkville police took a report of a hit and run accident that occurred at 9:55 p.m. at Cannonball Trail and Blackberry Shore Lane. The offending vehicle side-swiped the victim’s vehicle and then fled the scene.

Thursday, Jan. 9

Theft

Yorkville police took a report of theft that occurred in the 2000 block of North Bridge Street on Dec. 13. $80 cash was reported taken.

Wednesday, Jan. 8

Theft

Yorkville police took a report for a theft that occurred between April 2013 and January 2014 in the 4000 block of Winduster Lane. The victim reported that a ring and two necklaces valued $16,200 were missing.

Assault

Yorkville police are investigating an assault that occurred in the 700 block of Game Farm Road. A female juvenile reportedly threatened to harm another female juvenile on a school bus.
