Crashed into sign, trees
A 54-year-old Yorkville woman left the road around 4:14 p.m. near 9065 Van Emmon Road and crashed into a street sign and several trees, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office news release. Paramedics treated her at the scene, and no tickets were issued.
Threatening telephone calls reported
A 48-year-old Yorkville man reported he was receiving threatening telephone calls from an unknown caller, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Driving while license suspended alleged
Gavino Chapol-Reyes, 28, of the 300 block of Wentworth Drive, Sandwich, was charged at about 9:30 p.m. with driving while license suspended and driving without a taillight at Route 47 and Greenbriar Drive, Yorkville police said.
Monday, Feb. 14Weapons violation alleged
Dale Larson, of the 1800 block of Country Hills Drive, Yorkville, was charged at about 6:25 p.m. with possession of a firearm without a firearm owner’s identification card, Yorkville police said. The firearm was in his home, according to reports.

Three-car accident at high school
Yorkville police responded to a three-car crash at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road, at about 2:40 p.m., according to a news release. Police said a Honda Accord rear-ended a Pontiac Grand Am, which pushed the Grand Am into a Saab 93. No tickets or injuries were reported.
Saturday, Feb. 13Unauthorized purchases in Australia reported
A woman reported that $501 in purchases in Australia were made on her credit card without her permission, Yorkville police said. She discovered the improper purchases after her credit card was denied at a fast food restaurant. Her card was canceled and she was given a new card number.
