Identity Theft Attempt Reported
A 56-year-old Yorkville-area woman reported that someone had tried to access her credit card information and change her personal information, according to Kendall County sheriff’s police.

Traffic Arrest
Cortney S. Humphries, 28, of the 0-99 block of North Cannonball Trail, Bristol, was charged with driving without a valid license at Cannonball Trail and Galena Road, police said. He also was arrested on an unspecified warrant.

Garage Burglary
Several items were taken from a detached garage in the 1000 block of McHugh Road, police said.
Storm Door Window Broken During Argument
Jeremy Kyle Flynn, 30, of the 8500 block of West High Point Road, Yorkville, punched a storm door window during a verbal argument with his mother, police said. The punch broke the window, and Flynn was treated for minor cuts to his hand and charged with criminal damage to property, police said.
Drug Test Fraud Alleged
A 17-year-old Plano boy tried to defraud a drug and alcohol screening test at the probation office in the Kendall County Courthouse, 807 W. John St., police said.
Jail Inmate Allegedly Threw Food Tray
Jamaun Letrell Riley, 29, of the 1000 block of Lois Place, Joliet, was charged with battery and resisting a peace officer. While in custody at Kendall County Jail, he threw his lunch tray at a corrections officer and the food hit the officer, police said.
Thursday, Sept. 8Fraudulent Checks Related to Circuit Clerk's Office
Two fraudulent checks with banking information for the Kendall County Circuit Clerk’s Office were used at two home improvement stores in southern Illinois, sheriff’s police said. The total for the two checks is $2,699.11, although the circuit clerk’s office has not suffered any financial loss, police said.
Report: Tried to Choke Another Man
Andrew Blake Kage, 18, of the 8700 block of Van Emmon Road, Yorkville, was charged with battery, police said. He allegedly tried to choke a 19-year-old Yorkville man. He also allegedly bit him on the neck and punched him in the back of the head.
Wednesday, Sept. 7Multiple Traffic Charges
Tabrina Entria Cooper, 32, of the 1300 block of West 107th Place, Chicago, was charged with driving while license suspended, obstructed windshield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Cannonball Trail and Hickory Lane, police said.
Driving on a Suspended License Alleged
A 17-year-old Aurora boy was charged with driving on a suspended license about 10:30 p.m. at Route 34 and McHugh Road, police said.
Sunday, Sept. 4Drug Charges Filed
A 17-year-old Newark boy was charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance after a traffic stop at North Street and Cannonball Trail, police said.
Friday, Sept. 2Teen Faces Traffic Charges
A 17-year-old Aurora boy was charged with driving without a valid license and improper lane use at Route 71 and Van Emmon Road.
