No charges were filed after Yorkville police investigated an incident between neighbors of the 500 block of Harding Street. According to the police report one neighbor accused the other of kicking him.

Police investigated a report of a 19-year-old Yorkville woman receiving harassing text messages. No charges were filed against the alleged sender.

Illegal Transportation of Alcohol

A Chicago man is being held pending bond for illegal transportation of alcohol, driving without a valid license and driving without insurance. About 4 a.m. Saturday morning Yorkville police pulled Ramon Mejia, 41, of Chicago, after witnessing him drive straight through a left turn only lane, according to the report. When police came to the car they discovered an open bottle of alcohol. Police also charged passenger Mario Diaz Contreras with illegal transportation of liquor. Contreras, 38, is also from Chicago according to the report.
