Tuesday, Aug. 9

Stolen property

A volunteer at the Kendall County Courthouse reported the loss of a wallet, which was later found in a post office box in front of the building with approximately $26 in cash missing, police said.

No valid driver’s license

Following a traffic stop in the 800 block of South Bridge Street, police said they charged Roman Chaidez, 5580 S. Archer Ave., Chicago, with no valid driver’s license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Monday, Aug. 8

Charged with retail theft

Cassandra M. McKenna, 19, of Bushnell Road in Big Rock, was charged with retail theft in connection with stealing $50 worth of clothing from a store in the 900 block of Erica Lane, according to police reports.

Tuesday, Aug. 2

Gift card fraud alleged

Police received a report from a victim who said someone made unauthorized charges in the amount of $255 on a gift card at the Walgreens on Veterans Parkway.

Saturday, July 30

Criminal damage

Police said someone smashed the windows out on construction equipment parked in the 1100 block of North Veterans Parkway.

Wednesday, July 27

Driving while license suspended

Police cited Michelle M. Dunlap, 32, of the 800 block of Kensington, Aurora, with driving with a suspended license following a traffic stop at Route 47 and Landmark Avenue, according to reports.

Theft from motor vehicle

Police investigated the report of a theft from a motor vehicle in the 500 block of Kelly Avenue.

Burglary

A burglary was reported in the 300 block of East Van Emmon Street.

Forgery

Police were called to the 200 block of Greenbriar Road to investigate an alleged forgery.

Burglary to a motor vehicle

An incident of burglary to a motor vehicle was reported in the 500 block of West Washington Street.

Tuesday, July 26

Retail theft

Police charged a 17-year-old juvenile with misdemeanor theft in connection with taking two Frisbee golf discs valued at $32 from a business in the 1500 block of Sycamore, according to reports.

Monday, July 25

Domestic battery

Police said they arrested Thomas R. Ragagli, 20, of the 500 block of Powers Court on an in-state warrant for domestic battery.

Thursday, July 21

Criminal damage to property

Officers investigated a report of criminal damage to property in the 100 block of East Park Street.

Theft

Police were called to investigate a report of theft in the 200 block of Walsh Circle.

Wednesday, July 20

Drug possession

Police charged Marisela Carrillo, 31, of the 200 block of W. Washington Street, Oswego, with unlawful possession of a controlled substance in the 900 block of North Bridge Street. According to reports, Carrillo returned a rental car containing a bag filled with 1.7 grams of a white powdery substance, which police believed to be cocaine.

Criminal damage/theft

A resident of the 300 block of East Ridge Street told police someone slit two tires on a bicycle parked in the garage and stole $20 in cash from the bicycle’s frame.

Thefts

  • A wallet and cell phone with an estimated value of $352 were reported stolen from a backpack at the 4000 block of North Bridge Street.
  • Police were called to the 500 block of West Barberry to investigate the theft of a mailbox valued at $40.
Sunday, July 17

Theft

A resident of the 4500 block of Marquette Street reported the theft of a red and blue inflatable recreation house valued at $1,000.

Tuesday, July 12

Credit card fraud

Police were called to the Yorkville School District administrative offices to investigate a report of credit card fraud. According to police reports, a BP credit card that has been missing since July 2009 was reported still activated and being used. School officials told police that charges of $844.23 were put on the credit card in June 2011.

Monday, July 11

Driving while license is revoked

David R. Chavez, 24, of the 500 block of Powers Court, Yorkville, was arrested at Rt. 47 and Orange for driving while license is revoked after he was stopped for having no front registration plate, police said.

Saturday, July 9

No valid driver’s license

Javier Orrala, 24, of the 800 block of Prairie Crossing, Yorkville, was arrested for no valid driver’s license, improper lane use and no front plate following a traffic stop at Route 47 and Washington Street, police reports indicate.

Thursday, July 7

No valid driver’s license

Fernando Arreguin, 37, of the 600 block of Foli Street, Plano, was arrested for no valid driver’s license and obstructed windshield following a traffic stop at Route 34 and Isabel, police reports said.

Monday, July 4

Driving while license suspended

Porfirio Flores-Rivera, 35, of the 300 block of Eastern Avenue, Aurora, was arrested for driving while license is suspended following a police traffic stop at Route 34 and American Way.
