Speeding and DUI
Ryan N. Dockstader, 20, of the first block of Ethel Court, Yorkville, was charged at about 1:45 a.m. with speeding 58 mph in a 35-mph zone, unlawful consumption of alcoholic liquor and illegal transportation of alcohol, Yorkville police said.

Snowblower Reported Stolen
A $450 snowblower was reported stolen at about 10:10 a.m. from a driveway in the 4500 block of Marquette Street, police said.

Items Found
- A Motorola cellular phone was found at about 5 p.m. in the 1100 block of Hampton Lane.
- A black and red boy's BMX bike was found at about 8:30 a.m. at East Kendall Drive and Countryside Parkway.
Driving Charges Filed
David Lee Chaplin, 35, of the 100 block of Colonial Parkway, Yorkville, was charged around noon with driving while license revoked, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without valid registration, police said.
DUI Charged After One-Car Accident
Mary A. Barr, 44, of the 200 block of Meadows Drive, Sugar Grove, was charged at about 11:50 p.m. with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of improper lane use after driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer off the roadway at Route 47 and Rosenwinkel Street, police said.
DUI with Unsafe Tire
Jorge H. Soto, 34, of the 600 block of Woodlawn Avenue, Aurora, was charged at about 2 a.m. with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, driving without insurance, improper lane use and driving on an unsafe tire, police said. He was stopped at Route 47 and Washington Street.
Wednesday, Feb. 1Two Charged with Retail Theft
Kasey M. Nemec, 21, of the 5500 block of Minkler Road, Yorkville, and Karen F. McClernon, 50, of the 300 block of East Fox Road, Yorkville, were charged with retail theft at about 12:20 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane. Police said Nemec took clothing valued at $129.79 total and McClernon took clothing worth $186.99.
Harassment Reported
A resident reported receiving harassing text messages.
Traffic Violations
Richard L. Mattox Jr., 35, of the 800 block of South State Street, Yorkville, was charged with unlawful display of registration and failure to signal at about 10 p.m. at Route 47 and Fox Road, police said.
Tuesday, Jan. 31Disturbance Reported
Police said they responded to the 1200 block of Spring Street at about 12:05 p.m. for a disturbance.
Sunday, Jan. 29Stolen Underwear and Jewelry
Sabrina A. Swearingen, 18, of the 300 block of East DeKalb Street, Somonauk, was charged at about 11:30 a.m. with retail theft after police said she took $68 in jewelry and undergarments from a business in the 900 block of Erica Lane.
