Traffic Signal Hit

A 2010 Peterbuilt semitrailer struck a traffic signal at Route 47 and Galena Road about 3:30 p.m. as the driver turned onto northbound Route 47 from westbound Galena Road.

Runaway

A juvenile was charged with being a runaway and obstructing identification about 2:45 p.m. in the 2000 block of Cranston Circle.

Teen Charged in Domestic Battery

A 16-year-old was charged with domestic battery about 7:50 p.m. after an incident in the 2800 block of Cranston Circle involving a 15-year-old.

Sunday, Sept. 18

Theft Reported at Goodwill

A wallet with two credit cards and $58 cash was stolen from a shopping cart about 2:55 p.m. at Goodwill, 481 Countryside Parkway.

Saturday, Sept. 17

Flower Reported Stolen from Apartment

Someone entered an apartment in the 100 block of West Hydraulic Avenue between Tuesday and Saturday and stole a pink rose, police said.

Thursday, Sept. 15

Traffic Charges Filed

Jeffrey Lambert, 41, of the 0-99 block of Sunbury Drive, Streator, was charged about 2:30 p.m. with driving while license suspended, unlawful display of registration and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Sept. 14

$3,500 in Diamond Rings Stolen

Two diamond rings with an estimated combined value of $3,500 were stolen from an apartment in the 500 block of West Kendall Drive between June 2 and Sept. 13.
