Possession of Cannabis

Following a traffic stop, Yorkville police arrested 20-year-old Alexis P. Pearson, of the 200 block of W. Hydraulic Avenue, for possession of cannabis, driving on a suspended license, no proof of insurance and expired vehicle registration, according to police reports.

Theft reported

A resident reported an unknown person stole a digital camera from their residence in the 400 block of Washington Street between Jan. 2 and Jan. 12. Police said there were no signs of forced entry at the residence. The camera has a value of $500, police said.

Police arrested 21-year-old Timothy A. Collins, of the 9000 block of Ament Road, after police discovered him asleep at the wheel of his car, which was stopped in the middle of Route 71, according to reports. Collins was also cited for improper parking on a roadway and a defective windshield, police said.
