Someone removed a Bristol-Kendall firefighter badge, nameplate and collar emblems from a shirt hanging in a locker at Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District Station One, Yorkville police said.

Woman Tried to Walk Out With $150 in Clothing
Holly E. Vantilburg, 18, of the 600 block of East Center Street, Sandwich, was charged with retail theft after trying to leave a store in the 900 block of Erica Lane at about 10:45 p.m. with about $150 in women’s clothing concealed on her person, police said.

Man Chest-Bumps Police Responding to Crash
John N. Montgomery, 30, of the 1100 block of Goldfinch Avenue, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol after a crash at Route 47 and Legion Road at about 9:30 p.m., police said. In connection with the same incident, Mark D. Sleezer, 33, of the 11100 block of Church Road, Yorkville, was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer after refusing to leave the accident scene, bumping chests with a police officer and making face-to-face contact with the officer, police said.
Damaged Safe Found
A damaged safe was found at about 7:45 a.m. behind a business in the 100 block of East Hydraulic Avenue, police said.
Charged After Accident
Bethany R. Houser, 30, of the 500 block of Holiday Drive, Somonauk, was charged with improper lane use after sideswiping another vehicle at about 9:15 a.m. in the first block of West Veterans Parkway, police said.
Debit Card Fraud Reported
Someone reported that several unlawful transactions were made Nov. 18 using a stolen debit card, police said.
Marijuana Possession Reported
Brandy Lynn Rogers, 27, of the 4500 block of Camden Lane, Yorkville, was charged with a city ordinance violation alleging possession of less than 2.5 grams of marijuana, police said.
Saturday, Dec. 10Retail Theft
Caroline A. Betlei, 48, of the 1600 block of Cypress Lane, was charged with retail theft after taking $182 in jewelry and clothing from a business in the 900 block of Erica Lane, police said.
Thursday, Dec. 8Traffic Charge Filed
Hector M. Alvarez, 26, of the 1000 block of Waverly Way, Montgomery, was charged with driving while license suspended during a traffic stop at about 2 p.m. at Route 34 and Game Farm Road, police said.
Christmas Lights Damaged
A strand a Christmas lights was reported damaged in the 300 block of Pensacola Street, police said.
Saturday, Dec. 3Paint Poured on Car
Someone poured black latex paint on the hood and windshield of a car parked in the 1500 block of Cottonwood Trail, police said. Cleaning up the paint cost about $10.
Thursday, Nov. 24Unlocked Vehicle Burglarized
A pair of sunglasses, an iPhone charger and two packs of cigarettes were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 2300 block of Sumac Drive, police said.
