Drain cover gone
A drain cover went missing from the 400 block of West Van Emmon Street, according to Yorkville police.

Possible burglary reported
A framed photograph and two decorative dinner plates may have been taken from an unlocked vehicle in a parking lot in the 700 block of Edward Lane between 11:50 a.m. and 12:20 p.m., Yorkville police said.

Two unlocked cars burglarized
A purse was reported stolen about 8:05 a.m. from an unlocked vehicle in the 1700 block of Cottonwood Court, police said. Someone broke into a second unlocked vehicle in that area without taking anything.
Items reported stolen
Several items were reported stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1600 block of Cottonwood Trail, police said.
Two charges stem from separate accidents
- Robert W. Sauerwein, 36, of the 100 block of DeKalb Street, Sandwich, was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle after he rear-ended a vehicle driven by a 34-year-old Morris woman, police said. The crash happened about 1:40 p.m. at Route 34 and Cannonball Trail.
- Kimberly S. Reedy, 30, of the 1300 block of Marketplace Drive, Yorkville, was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle after rear-ending a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old Oswego man, police said. The crash happened at 11:20 a.m. at Route 34 and Marketplace Drive.
Digital camera missing
A digital camera reportedly went missing from a home in the 300 block of East Ridge Street sometimes since January, police said.
Graffiti report
An obscene word was spray-painted on a vehicle in the 100 block of East Hydraulic Street between June 19 and 20.
Arrest on outstanding warrants
Erika J. Martin, 29, of the 400 block of North Avenue, Aurora, was charged about 1 p.m. with driving while her license was suspended, police said. She also was served two in-state warrants, police said.
