Police Blotter: Man Charged with Damaging Ex-Girlfriend's Car

Kendall County Sheriff's reports involving Yorkville area incidents, residents, June 10-12.

Sunday, June 12

Drunk driving charge

John Wesley Cessna, 34, of the 100 block of Bertram Drive, Yorkville, was charged about 2 a.m. with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving while license suspended, failure to signal and no tail lights, according to a news release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, June 11

Three charged with underage drinking

Jake D. Wagner, 19, of the 1800 block of Nashville Lane, Crystal Lake, was charged about 4:30 a.m. with unlawful consumption of alcohol, sheriff’s police said. In connection with the same incident, a 17-year-old Yorkville girl was charged with driving without a valid license, unlawful consumption of alcohol, improper lane use and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, according to police. Another 17-year-old Yorkville girl was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol.

Fraud charged in drug/alcohol test

Matthew Jacob Sabo, 18, of the 1400 block of Collins Road, Oswego, was charged about 4:40 p.m. with defrauding a drug or alcohol screening test, police said. He allegedly tampered with a mandatory random urine sample in the Kendall County probation department.

Braidwood man allegedly damages ex-girlfriend's car

Brian Daniel Rich, 26, of the 600 block of West Second Street, Braidwood, was charged about 11:30 p.m. with criminal damage to property for allegedly breaking the door handles off his ex-girlfriend’s vehicle at Suzy’s Pizza and Sports Bar, 4353 Tuma Road, police said.  Police said Rich told them he was upset his ex-girlfriend was drinking there.
