Marijuana Charges Connected with Underage Party
A 17-year-old was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 9:20 p.m. after parents broke up an underage party in the 400 block of Norway Circle, Yorkville police said.

DUI Charged in One-Car Crash
John H. Young, 53, of the 9000 block of East Marquand Drive, Rochelle, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and improper lane use, Yorkville police said. He went into a ditch at West Highpoint Road and Budd Road at about 8 p.m. and was taken to Rush Copley Medical Center.

Theft Reported
Various items were reported stolen from the 2800 block of Old Glory Drive between Oct. 28 and Nov. 2, police said.
Retail Theft Reported
A 17-year-old was charged with misdemeanor retail theft at about 7 p.m. related to taking $261 in merchandise from Kohl’s, 945 Erica Lane, police said.
Marijuana Charges Filed After Traffic Stop
Scott E. Dunn, 27, of the 300 block of West Ridge Street, Yorkville, was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop at about 1:30 a.m., police said.
Car Stuck in Cornfield; DUI Charged
Jennifer Leasure, 25, of the 100 block of East Jefferson Street, Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use, police said. Her vehicle got stuck in a cornfield hear Route 126 and Pennman Road, police said.
Monday, Feb. 27Charges in Crash
Krystal L. Carlson, 30, of the 1300 block of Camden Court, Sycamore, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and failure to give aid or information after an accident at about 6:45 p.m. at Route 34 and Isabel Drive, police said.
Saturday, Feb. 25Valuables Worth More than $10,000 Reported Stolen
About $10,370 of cash, jewelry, video game controls and other items were reported stolen from the 1300 block of Chestnut Lane between Saturday, Feb. 18 and Saturday, Feb. 25, police said.
Underaged Drinking Reported
Christopher J. Wolski, 18, of the first block of South Lewis Avenue, Lombard, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol at about 2:40 a.m. in the first block of West Veterans Parkway, police said.
iPod Touch Stolen
A $200 iPod Touch was reported stolen in the 900 block of Erica Lane.
Three Charged with Pot Possession
Charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 8 p.m. were: Justin Saum, 29, Courtney M. Jayne, 25, and Katrina L. Espinoza, 25, all of the 300 block of Mulhern Court, police said.
Tuesday, Feb. 21Two Dogs Bitten
A pit bull bit two dogs being walked in the 700 block of Bristol Avenue at about 6:18 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 20Residential Burglary Reported
Two laptops, valued at $900, were reported stolen at about 7:20 p.m. from an apartment in the 1200 block of Marketplace Drive.
Friday, Feb. 17Retail Theft Reported
A $60 pair of jeans was reported stolen at about 7 p.m. from Kohl’s, 945 Erica Lane.
