Hit and Run Reported

An unknown individual driving a white vehicle struck a vehicle driven by an Oswego woman and left the scene. Police said the incident occurred at around 10:37 a.m. near the intersection of Route 34 and Autumn Creek. Police are investigating.

Domestic Battery

Kendall County deputies arrested 33-year-old Laura Lyn Simmons of the 0-50 block of Timberview Lane for domestic battery. According to reports Simmons was accused of striking another person and causing damage to that individuals personal property. More information was not provided. In addition to charges of domestic battery, Simmons was also charge with criminal damage to property, police said.
