Three Injured in Three-Car Crash
Patrick T. Avery, 18, of the 2500 block of Lyman Loop, Yorkville, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He allegedly rear-ended a vehicle and caused that vehicle to strike another in the 8400 block of Route 34 about 6:20 p.m., Yorkville police said. A 24-year-old Crest Hill man, a 46-year-old Manteno man and a 46-year-old Manteno woman were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora.

Property Reported Damaged
A resident in the 2200 block of Beresford Drive reported that an air conditioner had been damaged between May 1 and May 25, police said.

DUI Alleged
Donald E. Twaits, 18, of the 3800 block of Brenton Drive, Joliet, was charged with driving under the influence, reckless driving, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, unlawful consumption of alcohol and unlawful possession of alcohol. He allegedly struck a utility police about 8:20 p.m. in the 200 block of East Veterans Parkway.
Ticketed After Crash
Bridget Unger, 29, of the 300 block of Bertram Drive, was charged with disobeying a stop sign after a crash at Bertram Drive and Rosenwinkle Street about 12:16 p.m. Three people were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center.
