Credit card fraud alleged
Yorkville police said they are investigating an alleged credit card fraud that was reported in the 400 block of Elm St. about 11 a.m.
Snowmobile driver allegedly drunk
Eric Lee Schanz, 25, of the 0-100 block of Parkway Drive, Yorkville, was charged about 3:46 a.m. with operating a snowmobile while under the influence, according to Kendall County Sheriff’s police. The incident happened near Millhurst and Sandy Bluff roads near Plano, police said.

Sign reportedly damaged in DUI accident
David H. Aponte, 22, of the 300 block of Grant Place, Aurora, was charged about 6 a.m. with driving under the influence, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident and operating an uninsured motor vehicle, Yorkville Police said. Police said his 2006 Chevrolet HHR struck a traffic sign on Route 47 north of Wheaton Avenue.
Warrant arrest
Lilly A. Leon, 39, of the 2900 block of South King Drive, Chicago, was arrested about 6:45 p.m. on an outstanding warrant alleging driving on a suspended license, Yorkville police said. The arrest happened during a traffic stop at Routes 34 and 47.

Police: Driver left car after crashing into tree
Brian Thomas Dusell, 32, of the 400 block of Kelly Avenue, Yorkville, was charged with leaving the scene of a property damage accident, sheriff’s police said. Deputies said they found a severely damaged vehicle that had struck a tree at Fox and High Point roads about 10:50 p.m. Dusell, the registered owner, later relayed that he had lost control of the vehicle, crashed it and returned home without notifying police nor the owner of the tree that had been damaged, sheriff’s police said. He did not need medical attention, but was charged with the Class A misdemeanor.
TUESDAY Feb. 8iPod Touch reported stolen
Someone stole a $230 iPod Touch from a 15-year-old Yorkville High School student, Yorkville Police said.
