Police Blotter: Driver Cited with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Theft reported

A Yorkville resident in the 8800 block of Hopkins Road reported the tailgate of his pickup truck had been stolen from the vehicle. The truck, which is for sale, was parked in the 9400 block of Caton Farm Road, according to the police report. The tailgate is valued at $350.

A 22-year-old Yorkville man was charged with driving while his license is suspended, according to reports. Police said Ryan T. Deane, of the 1000 block of Independence Boulevard, was discovered driving on the suspended license at 8:32 a.m. Jan. 17.

Yorkville police cited Ethan C. Harbin, 22, with possession of drug paraphernalia during a traffic stop. According to reports Harbin, of the 400 block of Spring Street, was pulled by police for vehicular equipment violation at about 2:50 p.m. During the stop police said they discovered the paraphernalia.
