Domestic battery started over dinner
Michael Collin Peterson, 44, of the 12900 block of Budd Road, Yorkville, was charged with domestic battery after making contact with two household members, according to Kendall County Sheriff’s police. The incident allegedly happened “after a verbal argument about dinner not being on the table when he got home from work,” according to a news release.

DUI alleged
Delano S. McConnell, 56, of the 800 block of East Main Street, Yorkville, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane use and illegal transportation of alcohol at Orchard and Caterpillar Road, police said.

Charged with domestic battery
Debra Shawn Simmons, 42, of the 0-100 block of Quinsey Lane, Yorkville, was charged with domestic battery for allegedly pushing someone to the floor after indicating she wanted that person to move out of the home, police said.
Fraud reported
A 34-year-old Yorkville man reported that someone else had opened a Nicor account using his name.
