An 83-year-old man reported his mailbox had been damaged and was found in the middle of the street in the first block of Hillview Court, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

A $100 GPS unit and a $250 .38-caliber pistol were reported stolen between midnight and 5:30 p.m. from an unlocked vehicle in the 100 block of East Blackberry Lane, Yorkville police said.
Caught with Tobacco at High School
A 17-year-old girl was cited with underage possession of tobacco at about 9:40 a.m. at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road, Yorkville police said.
Tuesday, March 8DUI Arrest
Bryan Lee Dickson, 32, of the 300 block of East Orange Street, Yorkville, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane use, the Sheriff’s Office said. The incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. at routes 34 and 47.
Dead Person's Debit Card Used
A credit union debit card for a deceased person was used to purchase $409.43 in merchandise from Mendards, 1800 Marketview Drive, at about 9 a.m., Yorkville police said. They are investigating the incident as a possible felony unlawful use of a credit card.
Two More Cited for Tobacco at High School
Two boys were cited with possession of tobacco at Yorkville High School, 797 Game Farm Road, Yorkville police said.
Monday, March 7Violation of an Order of Protection Alleged
A 55-year-old Yorkville woman reported a violation of an order of protection at about 3:30 p.m., the Sheriff’s Office said. Police are investigating.
Driving While License Suspended
Nichole Schmidt, 23, of the 100 block of Route 126, Yorkville, was charged with driving while license suspended about 10:15 p.m. at routes 127 and 47, Yorkville police said.
Vehicle Reported Damaged
About $100 in damage to a vehicle was reported at 2:30 p.m. in the first block of South Cannonball Trail, Yorkville police said.
