Car Stolen From Garage

Fred Novien Hawkins, 19, of the 1700 block of Ivy Lane in Montgomery, was charged with motor vehicle theft, the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office said. A 59-year-old Bristol woman started her mother’s 1994 Buick LeSabre and left it running in the garage with the garage door open while she went into the home about 1:25 p.m., police said. When she came out, she found the vehicle missing. Hawkins was later seen driving the vehicle on Route 30 near Orchard Road, police said.

Adult Website Memberships Bought With Stolen Debit Card

A 20-year-old Yorkville man reported that someone had used his debit card without permission to buy memberships to several adult websites. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the allegations.

 Criminal Damage Reported

A 56-year-old Bristol man reported that a man had broken a storm door and smashed a window on his truck with a snow shovel about 10 p.m. The victim did not know who the man was.
