Marijuana Charge Stems from Traffic Stop
Aaron J. Holub, 35, of the 2600 block of Whitebarn Road in Aurora, was charged at about 3:50 p.m. with unlawful possession of marijuana, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to wear a seat belt and failure to notify the Secretary of State of an address change, according to a news release from the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The traffic stop happened to Route 34 and Cannonball Trail.
Credit Card Fraud Reported
Yorkville police said they are investigating a report of credit card fraud in the 500 block of South Bridge Street.
Wednesday, March 23Warrant Arrest
Tammi Jean Shilka, 48, of the 400 block of West Ridge Street, Yorkville, was arrested at about 5:50 p.m. on a DuPage County warrant in connection with shoplifting, the Sheriff’s Office said.

Electronics Stolen from Vehicle
An $1,800 laptop, $100 iPod, and $100 cellphone were reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 800 block of Erica Lane, Yorkville police said. The items were taken between 4 and 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Monday, March 21Charged with Domestic Battery
Jeffrey Michael McNelis, 24, of the 300 block of Mulhern Court, Yorkville, was charged at about 7:50 a.m. with domestic battery, interference with reporting of domestic violence and criminal damage to property, the Sheriff’s Office said. The alleged incident happened in the 300 block of East Franklin Street in Newark.

Unauthorized Debit Charges Reported
A 27-year-old Yorkville man reported that someone had used his personal information and debit card number to make $316.92 in unauthorized charges in Springfield, the Sheriff’s Office said.
