Police Blotter: Telephone Harassment Reported, Credit Card Fraud, Domestic Battery

Domestic battery

Desiree M. Matos, 22, 1900 Raintree Road, Yorkville, was charged with domestic battery at 2:40 a.m. in the 11000 block of West Fox Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Credit Card Fraud Reported

A Yorkville resident reported that someone used his or her credit card number to make $12,000 in purchases, police said.

Telephone Harassment Reported

Telephone harassment was reported at about 7:02 p.m. in the 300 block of Walter Street, Yorkville police said.

Sunday, Aug. 19

Flag stolen

A decorative flag, valued at $10, was stolen from outside of a home sometime between Aug. 16 and Aug. 19 in the 200 block of West Fox Road, police said.

Friday, Aug. 17

Retail theft

Amanda Klebba, 33, of Marseilles, was charged with retail theft at about 12:53 p.m. at Kohl's, 945 Erica Lane, police said.

Thursday, Aug. 16

Juveniles nabbed for retail theft

Two juveniles were charged with retail theft at about 8:56 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane, police said. Reports state the juveniles together stole more than $100 worth of merchandise.

Domestic battery

Andrew Olson, 27, of Camden Lane in Yorkville, was charged with domestic battery at about 3:30 p.m. at his residence, police said.

Items stolen from garage

Two sets of keys and a Craftsman socket set were stolen from a garage between midnight and 8 a.m. in the 300 block of Colton Street, police said.
