Domestic battery alleged
Alexis N. Guovai, 19, of the 1300 block of Chestnut Circle, Yorkville, was charged about 10:15 a.m. with domestic battery, police said.

Charged with DUI
Sheryl A. Leitner, 53, of the 1800 block of Country Hills Drive, Yorkville, was charged about 10 a.m. with driving under the influence, driving while license revoked, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, failure to signal and improper lane use, police said.

Money missing from account
A Yorkville resident reported $286 was missing from his checking account, police said.
Sandals reported stolen
Nike sandals worth $20 were taken from a person in the 4000 block of North Bridge Street about 2:40 p.m., police said.
Charge filed in traffic accident
Daniel O’Gara, 38, of the 600 block of South Main Street, Yorkville, was charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, police said. He rear-ended another vehicle about 9:15 a.m. on Fox Street west of Route 47, according to police.
Wednesday, June 29Clothing allegedly stolen
Barbara K. Kubiak, 42, of the 0-100 block of Woodcliff Road, Montgomery, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing $103.97 in clothing from Kohl’s, 945 Erica Lane, police said.
Traffic crash
Fritzi Bartelmav-Martinez, 64, of the 0-100 block of Woodland Drive, Yorkville, was charged about 11 a.m. with failure to yield following a crash on Landmark Avenue east of Route 47, police said.
June 28Driving while license suspended
Patricia Ortiz, 48, of the 200 block of South Oak Street, Hinckley, was charged with driving while license suspended, police said.
Forgery reported
A Yorkville resident filed a report alleging identity theft and forgery.

Joseph P. Cecchi, 48, of the 2200 block of Andrew Trail, Montgomery, was charged with driving while license suspended.
Stolen T-shirt charge
Michael A. Kascher, 36, of the 100 block of East Washington Street, Yorkville, was charged with retail theft for allegedly stealing a $24 T-shirt from Kohl’s, 945 Erica Lane.
Fraudulent checks cashed
A Yorkville resident reported that two fraudulent checks totaling $4,500 were cashed from the resident’s account.
Car burglary reported
A vehicle in the 300 block of Mulhern Court was burglarized overnight, police said. Reportedly taken were a GPS unit, two sets of headphones and several compact discs.
