Game System Reported Stolen

A $325 Xbox 360 system was reported stolen from the 2100 block of Henning Lane.

Thursday, July 12

South Subway Shop Burglarized

Burglars broke into the Subway at 1965 S. Bridge St. through the drive-through window and stole the safe and about $1,700 in cash, Yorkville police said. The theft was reported about 7:20 a.m.

Sunday, July 8

Traffic Charge Alleged

Carl S. Shew Jr., 38, of the 300 block of West 16th Street, Lockport, was charged with driving with a suspended license at Route 34 and Cannonball Trail about 9 a.m., police said.

Saturday, July 7

Driving Without a License Reported

Ruben Magana, 18, of the 3800 block of East 30th Road, Sheridan, was charged about 2 a.m. at Fox and White Oak roads with driving without a valid license, police said.

Thursday, July 5

More Traffic Charges Alleged

David T. Boyd, 21, of the 0-99 block of Division Street, Bristol, was charged about 8:30 p.m. with driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at Route 47 and Gordon Street.

Charges Filed After Crash

Gerald K. Pastore, 23, of the 100 block of Bertram Drive, Yorkville, was charged with improper lane use, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, driving without insurance, driving under the influence, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of marijuana, police said. He was involved in an accident about 11:17 p.m. on Bertram Drive that damaged the vehicle’s passenger-side tire and wheel well, police said.

Traffic Charges Alleged

Sandra B. Hartmann, 26, of the 2500 block of Emerald Lane, Yorkville, was charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to wear a seatbelt, police said.

Wednesday, July 4

Allegedly Didn't Have License

Alfonso Mil-Escribano, 55, of the 100 block of Colonial Parkway, was charged with failure to signal and driving without a valid license, police said.

Tuesday, July 3

Credit Card Fraud Discovered

A Yorkville man discovered his credit card had been part of a fraud scheme involving $800 in unauthorized charges when it was declined at a store, police said. His credit card company had frozen the card to prevent any more bad charges.
