A 45-year-old Yorkville man charged with stealing wallet from vehicle.

A 45-year-old Yorkville man remained in Kendall County Jail on Thursday night on allegations that he stole a wallet from a vehicle at a Yorkville area bar.

Russell Stuebinger, 45, of Chestnut Circle, was charged this week with burglary to a motor vehicle, a Class 2 felony, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office news release. His bail was set at $25,000, which requires posting 10 percent for release while the case is pending.

A patron reported that a wallet was stolen about 8:40 p.m. July 20 from a vehicle at Suzy’s Bar, 4353 Tuma Road near Yorkville, police said. The victim called police again Tuesday to report that the thief had returned to the bar, police said.
