A Yorkville man and a Geneva woman are facing charges after a shooting incident Monday at a home in the 1800 block of Walsh Drive.

Michael Nickels, 27, of the same address, and Lisa Richardson, 28, of the 200 block of Cape Way, Geneva, both were charged with disorderly conduct after Yorkville Police and the Kendall County Sheriff’s office were called to the home at about 6 p.m. for reports of shots being fired, Yorkville police said.

Neighbors told the Aurora Beacon News that Nickels was seen shooting a gun from his back porch.

After an investigation at the home, other weapons were recovered from the scene, police said. Richardson has also been charged with not having a valid FOID card, police said.
