Wednesday, June 12
Burglary from motor vehicle
- Yorkville police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 6:07 a.m. in the 200 block of Bertram Drive.
- Yorkville police took a report of a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 6:31 a.m. in the 100 block of Bertram Drive. The car was reported unlocked.
Hit and run
Yorkville police took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 5:55 a.m. in the 1500 block of North Bridge Street. A parked car’s front bumper was struck by an unknown vehicle.

Sunday, June 9
Warrant, possession of cannabis, possession of drug paraphernalia
Shaine M. Triplrtt, 26, of the 600 block of Madison Street, Oswego, was arrested at 7:55 p.m. at Routes 71 and 47 and charged with a warrant, possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, said Yorkville police. He was also cited for a defective windshield and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

Lost articles
Yorkville police took a report for a wallet that was reported as lost at 12:58 p.m. in the 600 block of Center Parkway.
Friday, June 7
DUI, 3 warrants, DWLS
Walter E. Mius, 46, of the 5600 block of Fairview Avenue, Downers Grove, was arrested at 7:40 p.m. at Route 71 and Hollinbeck and charged with driving under the influence, driving with a suspended license and 3 in state warrants, said Yorkville police. He was also cited for no insurance, improper lane usage and suspended registration.
Retail theft, obstructing identification
Rodney D. Montgomery, 18, of the 2800 block of Hoffman Street, Plano, was arrested at 6:20 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane and charged with retail theft and obstructing identification, said Yorkville police. Montgomery took $113 of merchandise from a business and was then charged with obstructing identification after providing a false date of birth.
