Man Throws Bottle at Car, Reportedly Ex of Female Passenger: Police

Saturday, Dec. 28

Driving with revoked license

  • Eric J. Langfield, 37, of the 200 block of Villa Street, Elgin, was arrested at 11:16 a.m. at Routes 34 and 47 and charged for driving with a revoked license after he was stopped for speeding, said Yorkville police. He was also cited for having no insurance.
  • Anthony M. Randall-London, 28, of Chicago, was arrested at 11:20 a.m. at Route 47 and Main Street and charged with driving with a revoked license after he was stopped for making a right-turn at Van Emmon and 47 at the light despite the no-turn on red sign, said Yorkville police.

DUI, hit and run

Terry A. Walker, 51, of the 500 block of West Ridge Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. at Hydraulic Avenue west of Adams Street and was charged driving under the influence after his vehicle struck a utility pole, said Yorkville police. He was also charged with a hit and run after leaving the scene and cited for driving without insurance and for failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident.

Friday, Dec. 27

Criminal damage to property

A female juvenile was taken into custody and released to a parent after she was charged with criminal damage to property that occurred at 1:27 p.m. in the 100 block of West Ridge Street. The juvenile reportedly caused $100 worth of damage to a sign, said Yorkville police.

Thursday, Dec. 26

Hit and run

Yorkville police took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 8:50 p.m. in the 700 block of Arrowhead Drive. The victim’s vehicle was legally parked and was struck by an unknown vehicle. Damage occurred to the driver’s side bumper, hoop and fender area.

Criminal damage to property

Yorkville police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred at 5:20 p.m. at Routes 34 and 47. Her son drove the victim’s vehicle and a female passenger accompanied him. Another male, reportedly known to have dated the female passenger, threw a bottle at the car and caused a dent. The victim is deciding on whether to press charges in the incident.

Monday, Dec. 23

Theft

Yorkville police took a report for a theft that occurred around 5:10 p.m. in the 900 block of Erica Lane. A Samsung Galaxy S4 and $25 cash were taken from an unlocked vehicle while the victim was shopping.  Total loss is estimated at $595.
