Man Found Sleeping on Lawn Charged with Warrant: Sheriff

Sunday, July 7

Warrant

Jaime Lynn Hufstedler, 29, of the 200 block of Keck Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. in the 1100 block of Cornell Lane, Bristol, and charged with an in state warrant for retail theft, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

Fernando Cabera-Molina, 46, of the 400 block of Florida Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 4:49 .m. at Route 30 and Wolf’s Crossing and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office.

Obstructing identification, DWLS, unlawful possession, consumption of alcohol

Tiffani Chanese Thornton, 30, of the 2900 block of Sterling Court, Montgomery; and Clifford Roland Pike, 20, of the 600 block of Oak Avenue, Aurora, were arrested at 11:58 p.m. at Aldon Road and Fernwood Road, Montgomery, said the Sheriff’s office.  Thornton, the driver, was charged for driving on a suspended license and obstructing identification after she provided deputies with a false name. Pike was charged with the unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol.

Residential burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a residential burglary that occurred between June 22 and July 1 at a residence on Sonora Road.

Saturday, July 6

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

A female juvenile, 16, was charged at 1:25 a.m. in the 0-100 block of Fernwood, Montgomery, with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies went to the area for reference for an out of control juvenile. She was referred to the juvenile courts for the underage drinking charge.

Friday, July 5

Possession of drug paraphernalia, unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol

A female juvenile was arrested at 11:51 p.m. in the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and the unlawful possession and consumption of alcohol by a minor, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

Edmond Salvador Davila, 28, of the 2200 block of Lynn Drive, Montgomery, was arrested at 6:34 p.m. at Fernwood and Winrock and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office.

Warrant

  • Joshua Thomas Dobson, 24, of the 600 block of Otter Way, Oswego, was arrested at 5:30 a.m. at his residence and charged with a felony warrant for burglary, said the Sheriff’s office.
  • Joel Lee Castillo Jr., 21, of the 1200 block of Cottonwood Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 4:59 a.m. at Wyndham Drive and Circle Drive East and charged with a warrant out of the Montgomery Police Department for resisting/obstructing a peace officer, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies made contact with Castillo after receiving a call for a well-being check of a male who was found sleeping on a lawn in the area.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported criminal damage to property that occurred between 10:30 p.m. on July 4 and 10:30 a.m. on July 5 in the 0-99 block of North Bereman Road, Montgomery. The back window of the victim’s vehicle was broken out resulting in an estimated $500 of damage. No suspects at this time.

Illegal consumption of alcohol, zero tolerance

Gavin Keith Reed, 20, of the 1200 block of Nantucket Street, Aurora, was arrested at 12:25 a.m. in the 0-99 block of Seneca Drive and charged for the illegal consumption of alcohol and zero tolerance, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, July 4

No valid driver’s license, curfew

Three female juveniles were arrested at 2:18 a.m. at Briarcliff Road and Boulder Hill Pass, Montgomery and charged with a curfew violation, said the Sheriff’s office. The driver was also charged for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Wednesday, July 3

Fireworks

Keith J. Thompson, 40, of the 0-99 block of Countryview Drive, Yorkville, was cited with a fireworks use charge at 9:43 p.m. at his residence, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies made contact after reciving reports of a fireworks complaint. Thompson was given a notice to appear in court.

Possession of drug paraphernalia, cannabis

Joshua Michael Akerlow, 20, of the 1700 block of Sunrise Court, Montgomery, was arrested at 6:27 p.m. at Briarcliff Road and Fernwood Road, Montgomery, and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia and cannabis under 2.5 grams, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

No valid driver’s license

Juan Manuel Ascencio, 28, of the 29W00 block of Forest Avenue, West Chicago, was arrested at 6 a.m. in the 1700 block of Route 30 and charged for driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, July 2

No valid driver’s license

A female juvenile was arrested at 12:00 a.m. at Route 34 and Orchard and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license, curfew violation

  • Two male juveniles, both 15, were arrested at 2:36 a.m. at Glendale Avenue and Route 126, said the Sheriff’s office. Both were charged with curfew violations and the driver was charged for driving without a valid license.
  • Two female juveniles, both 16, were arrested at 10:55 p.m. at Augusta Road and Kevin Lane, Oswego, said the Sheriff’s office. Both were charged with curfew violations and the driver was charged for driving without a valid license.

Monday, July 1

Obstructing identification, in state warrant

Andre L. Lang, 22, of the 1400 block of Light Road, Oswego, was arrested in 7:34 p.m. in the 1400 block of Light Road and charged with obstructing identification after he furnished a false name and a warrant out of Aurora for trespassing, said the Sheriff’s office.

Sunday, June 30

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Brando M. Kayer, 18, of the Colonial Parkway, Yorkville; and a male juvenile, 16, were arrested at 7:06 a.m. in the 0-99 block Sonora Drive, Montgomery and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies were dispatched to assist an ambulance for a report of incoherent 16-year-old male who had been vomiting and he was later charged with the underage consumption of alcohol.

Friday, June 28

Burglary

The Sheriff’s office took a report for a burglary that occurred between June 16 and June 28 in the 8000 block of Van Emmon Road, Bristol. Someone entered a camper an removed a flat screen television.
