Man Exposes Himself in Apartment Parking Lot: Sheriff

Saturday, July 20

DUI, property damage accident

Gene Rios, 24, of the 700 block of East New York Street, Aurora, was arrested at 2:#5 s.a.m. at Route 71 and East Highpoint Road and charged for driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies responded to a single-vehicle accident where a vehicle had left the roadway and ended up in a ditch on the south side of Route 71. Rios was also cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid and accident, improper lane usage and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

No valid driver’s license, speeding

A male juvenile, 17, was arrested at 12:39 a.m. at Route 71 and Orchard Roads and charged for driving without a valid license and speeding 76mph in a 55 mph zone, said the Sheriff’s office.

Warrant

Joscelyn Quinn Carpenter, 26, of the 1500 block of Light Road, Oswego, was arrested at 5:24 p.m. at her residence and charged with a warrant for driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office.

Domestic battery

Taylor Lawson Crawford, 21, of the 0-99 block of Hunter Lane, Bristol, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery after deputies received a 911 hang-up call, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, July 18

Burglary to a motor vehicle

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred between 9 a.m. on July 4 and 5 p.m. on July 16 in the 0-99 block of Countryview Drive, Bristol. A GPS/CD/AM-FM stereo and a Stihl brand gas concrete saw were reported stolen.

Public indecency

The Sheriff’s office took a report of public indecency that occurred 1:20 p.m. at the Boulder Hill Apartments in Montgomery. An unknown white male in his late 20’s exited a motor vehicle in the parking lot of the apartments wearing only a pair of sunglasses, according to the report. The man exposed his genitals to an unidentified female and then departed the area in a black in color Oldsmobile Alero. An investigation is pending.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of a battery that occurred at a business in the 5400 block of Route 34 between 4 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of an identity theft that occurred at an unknown time. The victim reported several unauthorized charges on his credit card and is attempting to determine the total amount charged.

Wednesday, July 17

Warrant

Michael F. Zangri, 38, of the 0-99 block of Wolf’s Crossing, Oswego, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. in the 800 block of West John Street, Yorkville, and charged with two warrants out of Will County for aggravated identity theft and manufacturing a controlled substance, said the Sheriff’s office. 

Identity theft

The Sheriff’s office took a report for an identity theft that occurred at an unknown time. The victim discovered an unauthorized charge on their credit card totaling approximately $1,740. The incident is under investigation.

Saturday, July 13

Domestic battery

Craig Augustine Castrejon, 50, of the 0-99 block of Whitney Way, Montgomery, was arrested at 4:09 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Harassment by telephone

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of telephone harassment that occurred at 5:40 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Ingleshire Road, Oswego. The victim reported receiving multiple unwanted phone calls.

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report of an identity theft that occurred at an unknown time. The victim reported an unauthorized charged on their credit card. Loss is valued at $1,740.
