Man Charged in Beating of Infant Son

A Yorkville man has been charged in the beating of his infant son.

A 21-year-old man has been charged with multiple felonies related to the April beating of his infant son, the Beacon-News reported.

The newspaper reported that John Burton, of the 2100 block of Bluebird Lane faces a dozen felony charges. The infant boy sustained serious injuries including multiple hemorrhages and neurological symptoms.

CBS 2 reported that Burton was charged with shaking the child and fracturing the baby's femur bone.
