Multiple DUI Incidents Reported in Last Week: Sheriff

Reports from the Kendall County Sheriff's Office; March 17 - March 24

Sunday, March 24

DUI

Josephus Turner, 62, of the 500 block of California Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 8:51 p.m. at Cannonball and North, Bristol, and charged with driving under the influence after deputies witnessed him weaving within the lane of travel and he failed field sobriety tests, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Cassey Antionette Van Deveer, 26, of the 100 block of Heathgate Road, Montgomey, was arrested at 12:19 a.m. at Pendleton Place and Heathgate Road and charged with a warrant out of Kendall County for failure to appear in court for obstructing a police officer, said the Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, March 23                                             

DUI, property damage accident

Alfonso Dagoberto Aguilar, 36, of the 0-99 block of Marnel, Montgomery, was arrested at 2:44 a.m. at Galena Road and West Highland Drive, Bristol, and charged with driving under the influence and a property damage accident, said the Sheriff’s office. Deputies had responded to a single vehicle rollover in which Aguilar’s vehicle left the roadway and ended up upside down on a residence lawn. Aguilar was also cited for improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol and operating an uninsured vehicle.

Warrant

Eddie Undre White, 29, of the 0-99 block of Rockyway, Montgomery, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. at his residence and charged with a failure to appear warrant out of Kendall County for driving with a suspended license, said the Sheriff’s office.

Friday, March 22

Battery

Eva Diaz Rodriguez, 50, of the 500 block of Broadway, Aurora, was arrested at 3:56 p.m. in the 100 block of Fernwood, Oswego, and charged with battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Wednesday, March 20

Hit and run

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported hit and run that occurred at 8 a.m. at Rocky Way and Hillstone Road. A legally parked vehicle was struck by another vehicle.

Tuesday, March 19

Possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license

A female juvenile, 17, and Branden Josephy Garibay, 19, of the 400 block of Hackney Lane, Oswego, were arrested at 10:43 p.m. in the 200 block of Country Road after deputies were dispatched to the area for reports of a suspicious vehicle. The female juvenile was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid license and Garibay was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, said the Sheriff’s office. 

Warrant

Bethany Ann Westenfelt, 22, of the 2600 block of East Street, Van Orin, was arrested at 12:08 a.m. at Route 31 and West Anchor Drive and charged with a warrant out of Kane County, said the Sheriff’s office.

No valid driver’s license

A female juvenile, 17, was arrested at 11:12 p.m. at Route 34 and American Way and charged with driving without a valid license, said the Sheriff’s office. She was also

Criminal damage to property

A male juvenile, 16, was arrested at 3:59 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Oak Creek Drive, Bristol, and charged with criminal damage to property after causing damages of approximately $2,000 at his residence, said the Sheriff’s office. The incident occurred during a domestic violence incident in which the juvenile’s parents attempted to take his cell phone and vehicle due to recent bad behavior.

Monday, March 18

DUI

Scott Dale Baish, 36, of the 100 block of Circle Drive West, Montgomery, was arrested at 1:43 a.m. at Saugatuck Road and Circle Drive East and charged with driving under the influence, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also cited for speeding.

Sunday, March 17

Domestic battery, resisting, criminal damage to property

Richard K. Allen, 73, of the 0-99 block of Sierra Road, Oswego, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, resisting arrest and criminal damage to property, said the Sherri’s office.  Allen was taken into custody on a signed complaint for kicking a small doorway gate into a family member’s leg. When deputies arrived and informed him of his arrest, he attempted to close the door on the deputies and run.  After being secured in the squad car, Allen kicked the upper portion of the passenger-side rear window and headliner. 

Warrant

David Saenz, 19, of the 0-99 block of Hubbard Way, Montgomery, was arrested at 9:48 a.m. at Sonora Drive and Fernwood Road, Montgomery and charged with an in-state warrant for the unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. He was also ticketed for speeding.
