Illegal Alien Called Police Himself

The 20-year-old said he was cold and scared after he was kicked out of the vehicle smuggling him into Illinois on Saturday morning, according to Kendall County sheriff's police.

A 20-year-old illegal alien being smuggled into Illinois called police Saturday morning after he had been kicked out of the vehicle, police said.

Kleyver Gutierrez-Arceda, whose address was unknown, told police he was “cold and scared” after he called police about 9 a.m. from the 3200 block of Route 52, which is north of Minooka, according to a news release.

The Department of Homeland Security had a immigration detainer order of deportation for him, so he was taken to the sheriff’s office to wait for immigrations officials, the news release stated.
