Furnace Stolen From Home Under Construction: Police

DUI

Andrew J. Grala, 25, of the 400 block of Brvell Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 3:19 a.m. in the 400 block of Brevell Street and charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage, said Yorkville police.

Hit and run

Yorkville police took a report for a hit and run that occurred at 8:05 p.m. on westbound Route 34 east of Game Farm Road. An unknown vehicle attempted to merge on to Route 34 and struck a vehicle. The suspect vehicle left the scene.

Residential burglary

Yorkville police took a report for a residential burglary that occurred between April 20 and April 22 in the 2300 block of Autumn Creek Boulevard. Unknown persons stole a furnace and 20 feet of copper wire from a home under construction. The loss is approximately $1,800.

Wednesday, April 24

Warrant

Michael J. Lorang, 21, of the 6900 block of State Route 23, Waterman, was arrested at 11:41 a.m. at Routes 126 and 71 and charged with a warrant out of DeKalb County for possession of a controlled substance, said Yorkville Police.
