Four Teens Charged with Underage Drinking Following Traffic Stop: Sheriff

Sunday, Oct. 27

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

Kristen Nicole Hauck, 19, of the 900 block of Totem Pole Lane, Shabbona; Stephen Joseph Franklin, 18, of the 1900 block of Whitmore Drive, Romeoville; Alyssa Rose Sajdak, 18, of the 5800 block of Monitor Avenue, Chicago; and a juvenile, male, were all arrested at 12:59 a.m. at Douglas Road and Longbeach Road, Oswego and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol, said the Sheriff’s office.

Deputies stopped a vehicle for multiple moving violations and discovered four passengers, listed above, had consumed alcohol and all were under 21. The driver of the vehicle was cited for speeding and failing to signal and Hauck and the juvenile were also cited for seatbelt violations.

Warrant, DWLS

Jordan Ashley McDowell, 21, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive, Oswego; and Ashley Desiree Schwartz, 21, of the 100 block of St. George Street, Oswego, were arrested at 9:25 p.m. at Kristine Street and Mary Street. McDowell was stopped while driving for suspicion of driving on a suspended license after a check of the vehicle’s registration. She was confirmed to be the owner and operator of the vehicle and was arrested for driving without a valid license. Schwartz, the passenger, was found to have a failure to appear warrant for speeding and was arrested on the warrant.

Saturday, Oct. 26

Warrant

Cassey A. Vandeveer, 27, of the 100 block of Heathgate Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 10:28 a.m. at her residence on a failure to appear warrant for obstruction of identification, said the Sheriff’s office.

Friday, Oct. 25

Warrant

Walter Joe Czenk, 38, of the 100 block of Tealwood Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 1:25 p.m. at his residence on a warrant out of Kendall County for domestic battery, said the Sheriff’s office.

Thursday, Oct.24

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a theft that occurred between 3:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Marnel Road. A truck wheel and tire were reported stolen.

Credit card fraud

Deputies took a report for credit card fraud that occurred between Sept. 20 and Oct. 20.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

Criminal trespass to vehicle, no valid driver’s license

Donnal W. Riley, 18, of the 5100 block of Baseline Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 11:17 a.m. after it was found that he had drove someone else’s vehicle without permission, said the Sheriff’s office. He was also charged for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Tuesday, Oct. 22

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for a burglary that occurred between Oct. 22 and Oct. 23 in the 0-99 block of West Larkspur Lane, Bristol. A woman’s mountain bike was reportedly taken from an unlocked garage on the property.

Monday, Oct. 21

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies took a report for an attempted burglary that occurred between Oct. 18 and Oct. 21 in the 0-99 block of Gastville, Aurora.
