Theft

Yorkville police responded to a reported theft of flip-flops that occurred at 5:10 p.m. at Raging Waves Waterpark. The flip-flops were valued at $40.

Yorkville police took a report for identity theft that occurred at 3:30 p.m. The victim reported an unknown subject used their social security number in Chicago.

Tuesday, July 16

Retail theft/theft

Francine Pation, 22, of the 100 block of East Hydraulic, Yorkville, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Beecher and charged with retail theft and theft for stealing items from the store over a period of time, said Yorkville police. Total loss is estimated at over $300.

Sunday, July 14

Theft

Yorkville police took a report of a theft that occurred at 7:20 p.m. in the 4000 block of North Bridge Street. There are no suspects at this time. Total loss is estimated at $300.

Friday, July 12

Identity theft

Yorkville police took a report for identity theft that occurred at 7:35 p.m. in the 1100 block of Wheatland Court. An unknown person attempted to take out a loan in the name of the victim’s daughter.

Hit and run

Yorkville police are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred at 9:55 p.m. in the 1300 block of Market Place Drive. No suspects at this time.

Thursday, July 11

Criminal damage to property

Yorkville police took a report of criminal damage to property that occurred at 5:58 a.m. in the 4500 block of Gardiner Avenue. $500 worth of damage was caused to a garage door.

Domestic battery

Yorkville police took a report of domestic battery that occurred at 1:49 p.m. in the 100 block of Countryside. The victim reported that an ex-girlfriend entered his home and slapped him during a verbal argument. The victim only wanted the incident documented.
