DUI Arrest for Man Found Sleeping in Vehicle: Police

Wednesday, Oct. 30

No valid driver’s license

Janell A. Pina, 19, of the 4000 block of Garritano, Yorkville, was arrested at 8:58 a.m. at Galena and Rosenwinkel and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license, said Yorkville police. He was also cited for no insurance, no registration and failure to transfer plates.

Warrant

Daniel W. Cosma, 35, of the 100 block of West Kendall Drive, Yorkville, was arrested at 7:35 p.m. at his residence on a warrant, said Yorkville police.

Violation of order of protection

James Milschewski, 21, of the 400 block of Heustis Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 10:51 p.m. in the 400 block of Heustis Street and charged for violating his order of protection, said Yorkville police.

Monday, Oct. 28

No valid driver’s license

Joaquin Rincon, 41, of the 200 block of Bertram, Yorkville, was arrested at 9:50 a.m. at Galena and Dickson and charged for driving without a valid driver’s license after he was stopped for a traffic violation, said Yorkville police.

Sunday, Oct. 27

Property damage accident

A juvenile, 17, struck a fence post on Galena Road west of Kennedy Road at 7:15 a.m. The juvenile reported falling asleep at the wheel and running off the road. No injuries were reported. 

Saturday, Oct. 26

DUI

Eric M. Adams, 29, of the 2400 block of Hillsboro Lane, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:28 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Veteran’s Parkway and charged for driving under the influence of alcohol, said Yorkville police. He was observed sleeping inside his vehicle outside of a business and upon further investigation was believed to be under the influence of alcohol.

Wednesday, Oct. 23

Criminal damage to property

Yorkville police took a report for criminal damage to property that occurred in the 2700 block of Hobbs Court around 10 a.m. A mailbox valued between $200-300 was damaged.
